Sealed bids shall be delivered by mail, overnight or courier to by 2:00 pm CST on March 25^th 2026 or delivered and clearly marked “Sealed Bid” to the attention of Mr. Jay Harnack, Superintendent, Illini West High School District ^#307 at 403 Walnut Street, Carthage, IL 62321.  

Contractor bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:30pm on March 25^th 2026, at Illini West High School District #307 at 403 Walnut Street, Carthage, IL 62321.  

Illini West High School Parking Lot Reconstruction Project located at 600 Miller Street, Carthage, IL as outlined within the Construction Plans & Contract Documents.

The Bid Package containing Bidder’s Instructions, Bid Proposal, Contract and General Conditions, Project Scope and other related documents may be obtained at the office of Landmark Engineering Group, Inc., 201 W, 2^nd Avenue, Suite 201, Coal Valley, IL 61240 or from Illini West High School District ^#307 located at 403 Walnut Street, Carthage, IL.  Contract documents & bid package will only be submitted electronically to qualified contractors upon request.

Contractors are to direct all questions to the Engineer in writing or by email no later than 2 days prior to the bid opening.  Engineer will respond to all questions in writing to all registered qualified bidders.

The project is scheduled to be awarded on or before May 1^st, 2026, with the pre-construction meeting to be scheduled within 10 days and work to commence on or about June 1^st and to be completed by August 1^st 2026.

Awarded contractor shall self-perform a minimum of 50% of the work.  Contractor shall provide Certified Payroll documentation to Engineer to document self-performance of completed work and compliance with Prevailing Wage Law.

This project does require a 10% Bid Security and a 100% Performance & Payment Bond.

Illini West High School District ^#307 reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities or irregularities, and to award the project to any qualified contractor based on its sole discretion and deemed to be in its best interest.
