Scholarships may be added on a weekly basis.  Pay special attention to application requirements, criteria, and deadlines.  School-specific scholarships can be found by visiting a particular college's website.  Apply, apply, apply!

Rock Island Post Society of American Military Engineers Scholarship

For students pursuing careers/degrees in engineering or physical sciences.  Multiple 1 and 2 year scholarships are available.  More information and applications can be picked up from Mr. Bliss or found:  here.

Amount:  $1,500-$3,000        Deadline:  March 18, 2026

Nightingale-Faber Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to those who excel in the areas of math and science and who have a proven record of community service.  Please download the application here, complete, and return to Mr. Bliss by the deadline.  No staples please!

Combat Veterans Motorcycle Auxiliary Association Scholarship

Applicant must be the dependent of a military veteran and be pursuing college full time during the 26-27 school year.  Information can be found here and the application can be found here.  Mr. Bliss also has hard copies in his office.

CBAI Raritan State Bank Scholarship

Essay scholarship open to all seniors in Illinois.  The packet with information and application can be picked up from Mr. Bliss.

Illinois Sheriff's Assocation Scholarship

Amount:  $500-$1,000     Due: March 13, 2026

Casey Krieg Memorial Scholarship

Please send an email telling (500 words or more) what your mail pillars of life are and how these will guide you after high school.  All applications are highly encouraged regardless of your path after high school.  Please include your plans after graduation and at least one character reference.  Applications will not be considered after April 1, 2026.  Send your application to:  caseykrieggolfouting@gmail.com

Dr. B.I. & Flora Mueller Scholarship

Selection will be based primarily upon academic performance and leadership ability.  Students must be pursuing a career in the health services field. Financial need will be a secondary consideration.  Please download the application here., complete, and return to Mr. Bliss.  Please, no staples!

Fred & Helen Gibb Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship is intended to be awarded to the student who has a clear vocational/educational goal and possesses the skills and abilities to achieve that goal. Students must be pursuing a vocational/technical education.  Academic performance in high school and financial need are not primary considerations in awarding this scholarship. Ted Irish Memorial Scholarship

Kyle Johnson Memorial Scholarship

Edith Blender Memorial Scholarship

The criteria for selecting makes no stipulation as to which element should be considered most important in determining the scholarship recipient. Therefore, we should consider financial need as a determining point when all other items are satisfactory or better.  Must be a resident of Durham township. C Dannen Latherow Memorial Scholarship

Criteria for selection: positive personality; academic average of B or better; involvement in school activities; involved in community & church activities; good moral character (willingness to include younger individuals in activities, considerate of others); volunteer/service activities.  Finalists will be invited to an interview with the scholarship committee. Lois Bradshaw Memorial Scholarship

Awarding scholarships to any student attending any institution providing further education of either a collegiate or technical nature.  Applicant must be from one of the following townships:  LaHarpe, Durham, Fountain Green. Jett Brown Memorial Character Scholarship

Open to all IW seniors.  Given to a senior who has strong character.  Application can be found here.  Please complete the application and either email it or turn in to Mr. Bliss by the deadline.

Jett Brown Memorial Agriculture Scholarship

Given to a senior who has an agricultural background and/or plans on pursuing an agriculturally-related career.  Application can be found here.  Please complete the application and either email it or turn in to Mr. Bliss by the deadline.

Sand Valley FOP Lodge #428 Scholarship

Scholarship available to any graduating senior in Hancock or Henderson County.  Application can be found here.

Memorial Hospital HIA & Medical Staff Scholarships

Hancock County Farm Bureau Foundation Scholarships

Demonstrate an interest in agriculture or agribusiness.  Application must be submitted through this jotform along with a digital head shot picture:  here.

Hancock County Farm Bureau Technical and Trades Scholarship

Must be pursuing a technical or trades degree/certificate post graduation. Application along with a digital head shot picture must be submitted through this jotform:  here.

IAA Foundation Scholarships

Application, Eligible Quickview Guide, and full list of scholarships can be found here.  Scholarships are provided to Illinois Farm Families, Illinois Farm Bureau Members, spouses, or their children who major in agriculture, agribusiness, or an ag-related course of study.

Ursa Farmers Coop Scholarship

Scholarship available for all active stockholders or the spouse, child, or grandchild of an active common stockholders in the Ursa Farmers Coop.  The expected degree is not limited to agriculture.  Application can be found via Google Doc here or a PDF version can be found here.

Hancock County Historical Society Scholarships

Elks National Foundation Scholarships

Current seniors who are US citizens are eligible.  Student must be pursuing a 4 year degree next school year.  Applicants do not have to be related to a member of the Elks.  Applications and information can be found here.  The Elks Legacy Scholarship is also available here.

Amount:  $1,000-$7,500       Deadline:  November 12, 2025 for Foundation; February 2, 2026 for the Legacy

Golden Apple Scholarship

For future teachers with a commitment of teaching in the state of Illinois.  Please see list of eligible colleges in the application.  The application can be found here.

WIEC Scholarships
