Dr. Elizabeth Korte Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is for Hancock County, Illinois students interested in a career in healthcare or healthcare services. Ideal candidates need to have ambitions to help others - preference will be given to those who are interested in supporting rural communities. Application website is here.

United Way of the Great River Region Scholarship
Available to seniors who reside in Hancock County. Applicant must be accepted into a recognized college, university, community college, or vocational school. Application can be found here.

Jett Brown Memorial Character Scholarship

Casey Krieg Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship provides a scholarship to be used toward a university, junior college, or trade school. Please write an essay describing your most significant adversity in life and how you have overcome that obstacle. This essay needs to be at least 500 words and must include one letter of recommendation. Please also include your future plans after high school. The scholarship is intended to be awarded to the student who has a clear vocational/educational goal and possesses the skills and abilities to achieve that goal. Hancock County 4-H Foundation Scholarship
Applicants must be high school seniors or high school graduates. They must be an active Hancock Co. 4-H member at the time of application. Criteria for awarding of the scholarships are: Scholarship and academic performance, demonstration of involvement in 4-H and community service, and character and personality. Hancock County Farm Bureau Foundation Scholarship
Must be a senior, a resident of Illinois, and be a Hancock County Farm Bureau member or dependent of a member at the time of application. You must also demonstrate financial need and an interest in agriculture and agribusiness. Application can be found here.

Hancock County Farm Bureau - Technical & Trades Scholarship
Must be working toward a technical or trades degree or certificate during the 2024-25 school year. The applicant must be a Hancock County High School graduate and/or be a resident in Hancock County and must be a member or dependent of a Hancock County Farm Bureau member at the time of application. Golden Apple Scholars Program
For Illinois students who will be participating in teacher preparation programs through partnering universities and colleges. Applications can be found here.

WIEC Scholarships
The Thomas H. Moore Illinois Electric Cooperative Memorial Scholarship program awards 16 scholarships. Lineworkers scholarships are included, as well as those for member of WIEC services. Eligibility requirements apply. More information and deadlines for each can also be found here.
