KeyTrain
Preparation for the WorkKeys Portion of the ACT
KeyTrain is an online learning component that provides related lessons geared towards the WorkKeys part of the ACT. There are four main components of KeyTrain: pre-tests, courses, topic lessons, and quizzes. There are 15 courses in KeyTrain, one for each WorkKeys skill.
KeyTrain is not an inclusive preparation for the ACT but will help students prepare for the work place skills portion. The only sections of KeyTrain that are included in the PSAE are the Applied Math and the Reading for Information portions. All juniors at Illini West High School are enrolled in these sections.
