CBAI Foundation for Community Banking Scholarship
All high school seniors may apply. Selection is based solely upon a written response to the essay question “What I like most about my community bank.”
Amount- $1,000 for 4 years Deadline – January 15, 2010
Mediacom World Class Scholarship
All seniors who are pursuing training beyond high school may apply. Applications are available on the Mediacom website (Click Here) or from Ms Logan. Selection is based upon leadership, community service, and academic achievement.
Amount- $1,000 Deadline – February 10, 2010
1st Farm Credit Services Scholarship
Seniors who have been accepted into an agriculture or ag-related curriculum may apply. Selection is based on academic achievement, community & agricultural youth organization involvement and brief essays. Applications are available online or through a 1st Farm Credit Services office (Click Here)
Amount- $1,000 Deadline – February 16, 2010

Glen Smiddy Memorial Scholarship
Students majoring in agriculture, agribusiness, conservation, natural resources, or other ag-related courses of study may apply. Selection is based upon exceptional scholastic ability and/or financial need. Application information is available from Ms Logan.
Amount- $500 Deadline – February 19, 2010
Carson Ford/National FFA Scholarship
Carson Ford has partnered with Ford and the National FFA to offer a college scholarship to a graduating FFA member. The application is available at the National FFA website (Click Here)
Amount- $1,000 Deadline – February 22, 2010
Illinois Odd Fellow-Rebekah Scholarship
Any senior with a gpa of ‘C’ or higher may apply. Selection is based primarily upon financial need. Applications may be obtained at the Illinois Odd Fellow-Rebekah website (Click here)
Amount- $1,000 Deadline – March 1, 2010
Foundation for Rural Service Scholarship
Students with a gpa of ‘C’ or higher whose families receive telephone service through McDonough Telephone Cooperative may apply. Applicants must have an interest in returning to a rural community following graduation.
Amount- $3,000 to $2,500 Deadline – March 1, 2010

Carl Sandburg College Foundation Scholarships
Carl Sandburg offers a wide range of scholarships for students attending their institution. In some cases, the scholarships may also be used for students attending SCC through Carl Sandburg. Scholarship information and applications are available on the CSC website (Click Here)
